Red Dawn on the Mosquito Lagoon

Early mornings have been the trick to getting redfish on the shallow water grass flats.  Tailing schools of all sizes have been making their appearances almost anywhere you stop and concentrate.

Most anglers practice catch and release but some choose to keep a couple for the dinner table.

The key to summertime fishing in Florida is go early and be the first one on the spot.

Both artificial and natural bait are productive but generally the bigger fish like natural baits as the seem more educated.

Spring Snook at Sebastian

Spring and Early Summer Snook Bite

Inshore and Inlet fishing for Sebastian and Indian River Snook is about as good as it gets when the tides and winds cooperate.  You can expect a mixed bag of redfish, gator trout and some mighty nice sized snook both in the inshore waters of the Indian River Lagoon and the tidal areas inside Sebastian Inlet.

Gator Trout Alert!

If you've ever wanted to catch large sea trout the time to do that is NOW! Large trout are flourishing in the shallow water flats in the Mosquito Lagoon and can be found actively feeding. "It's a total Artificial Bite and these usually wary fish are biting hard almost all day long," explains Captain Richard Bradley of Lagooner Fishing Guides.

Review / Trip Advisor

Inshore and Offshore Charter Fishing near Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.

Great Day of Fishing - My husband and grandson went out fishing with Captain Richard after his wife, Captain Gina was kind enough to pick them up at out hotel in Cocoa Beach. They had a great time even though it was cut just a bit short by a storm. My 15 year old grandson was worn out after fighting a huge amber jack for hours. He loved it! The only bad thing I can say is that they never sent us the photographs they promised, even after I checked back with them.
